Misletoe IconHo Ho Ho! Santa Claus is coming to Town

BellsChristmas is the time of the year when a child believes in miracles. There is a white bearded man who comes down the chimney on X'mas eve. He eats the cookie and the drinks all the milk which is kept for him and then leaves all the gifts for the child.

To make them believe in the idea of Santa you can start by making them write a letter to Santa. Bring out the Christmas tree and let them help you in decorating the tree with ornaments. Wrap their presents in a festive wrapping paper so that it looks different from the usual ones used for birthday parties. When you are ready to keep the Santa loot under the tree, be sure that children are in bed and that they don't try to sneak out of their room to meet Santa. You could mark some foot prints near the door so that the child believes that Santa had come in the house. Drink the milk and eat some cookies left out by the child so he knows Santa loves milk and cookies.

Most of all, enjoy unwrapping the gifts with them and capture these moments for a lifetime.

Heart IconLittle Known Facts: Huskies, The Snow Dogs

HuskiesHuskies are descendants of wolf. They change very little through breeding. The thick fur coat helps them survive the cold weather and they can go on for days with less food compared to other dogs. They are mainly used to pull sledges through the snow.

Heart IconHave a Safe Christmas

Xmas TreeMany people travel places to meet their family and friends. During the holiday season the potential for household fires jumps exponentially and is a major cause of injuries, hospitalizations or even deaths. Do make sure that the candles you burn and lights on the tree or around the house are not a fire igniting hazard when you are at home or away.

Be careful when you are driving or while crossing streets. About 40% of pedestrian accidents occur during the holidays. Even more care should be taken in parking lots when crossing pedestrians could be blinded while carrying huge shopping bags.
